The team at 4D Products start with a consultation with you to establish what you want to develop, while also considering your budget.

Starting with product research and idea generation, we then create a detailed design using 3D CAD modelling software and rapid prototyping.

Once a functional prototype is assembled, we test, review and record how the product performed giving us the opportunity to optimise the design and improve performance.

When the design has been approved, we prepare for manufacture by preparing final data files and liaising with potential suppliers.

When the product is in manufacture, we will review samples to check their quality. 4D often also create marketing material, including photo-realistic visuals, product animations and artwork for instructions and packaging.

We use powerful software tools to deliver finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics studies. This means your engineered industrial product will get to market sooner, with fewer physical prototypes and tests required.

Understanding

We will work closely with your in house team so we know exactly what is required technically and by your end customers.

Creating

A more technically complex product is often conceptualised in 3D CAD. We can also use our creative talents to quickly explore and communicate potential solutions as concept sketches for your consideration.

Engineering

We will develop detailed ‘manufacture ready 3D CAD models and engineering drawings. We can then supply high quality prototypes from our approved machine shops.

Delivering

When the design has been tested and approved, we will work with you to agree the best way to move into manufacture. We can manage the supply of components or assembled products, or issue the design data to you if that is your preference.

We’ll understand your requirements, write up a proposal which outlines the design process, costs and timeframes needed.
