Background
Rezzil approached 4D Products to design and develop a system that holds the Meta Quest controller onto a users foot in order to utilise the new Rezzil player pro application.
The product requirements included safe and secure during use and easy to attach and dismount from the foot as well as being visually appealing and cost efficient to manufacture.
Rezzil wanted to take a set of working prototypes to the Meta Show in Rotterdam.
Concept Design
The concept design phase focused on different ways the controllers could attach the foot whilst exploring material and product styling.
Design Development
With a design direction selected and feedback from the client, we took the design from a concept sketch into a virtual 3D Model ready to prototype.
Prototype Development and TestingÂ
The prototyping phase helped us to prove principles quickly whilst experimenting with the overall fit and function. The prototype iterations enabled us to move quickly through the design process ensuring the client had the perfect working prototypes for the show.
Rendering
The 3D CAD model was then taken into our rendering software to create stunning photo realistic renders.
