EntroPad’s enclosure supports Remsdaq’s innovative access control technology, combining clean aesthetics, configurable LED indication, and robust weatherproofing for both indoor and outdoor use.

Remsdaq needed an enclosure for their new range of door access control products, supporting multiple access methods (proximity, RFID keycards, PIN) and advanced electronics. The design had to be compact, IP65 weatherproof, and visually appealing, with a large perimeter light band for user feedback.

4D Products collaborated closely with Remsdaq, presenting a range of innovative concepts before developing the chosen direction in detail. The team engineered the enclosure for mass production, focusing on mechanical and aesthetic considerations, and optimised the light pipe design for maximum LED dispersion. Prototypes and visuals were supplied for trade show promotion and technical validation.

EntroPad launched as a multi-format, smart card reader with a high-gloss finish, full-circumference multi-colour indication, and antimicrobial design. The enclosure fits standard electrical boxes (UK/EU/US), is easy to install, and supports a wide range of access control systems, reinforcing Remsdaq’s reputation for innovation in security technology.
