The MiaCam enclosure supports a unique business model with global potential, providing a robust, user-friendly solution for secure video streaming.

The Challenge:

MiaCam needed an enclosure that could house a Raspberry Pi, camera module, IR LEDs, power circuit, status LEDs, and a light sensor, all while allowing for tilt adjustment to suit different installation heights. The design had to be visually distinctive, simple to use, and robust enough to protect complex internal components.

The Process:

4D Products began with idea generation and sketching, then tackled the challenge of creating a uniform circular light pipe from a cluster of LEDs. The team adapted the design as internal requirements evolved, producing prototypes to test fit and function and working closely with the client throughout.

The Result:

The completed design was prototyped in production-intent materials, resulting in a fully working unit. The MiaCam enclosure delivers both functionality and visual appeal, supporting the client’s innovative approach to secure video monitoring.
