A compact heating system filter designed for Sentinel, offering high performance in a reduced size and at a lower price point.

The Nano filter launch provided Sentinel’s customers with more choice, supporting growth in a competitive market and meeting stringent performance criteria.

Sentinel wanted to develop a smaller, more affordable heating filter without compromising on performance. The design needed to pass rigorous pressure testing and deliver effective hydro-cyclone filtration in a compact form.

4D Products worked closely with Sentinel to identify essential features and performance targets. The team reviewed the flagship Eliminator product, then focused on redesigning the lower section of the filter. Multiple rounds of rapid prototyping were used to prove fit and function, and to assist the factory with assembly and quality control processes.

Manufactured in the UK by an automotive specialist, the Nano filter was launched in time for the 2014 heating season. It has become a valued addition to Sentinel’s range, offering reliable performance and greater choice for customers.
