Arm approached 4D Products with a challenging brief to design a custom enclosure for their AI-powered camera device. With very short timescales, we were required to move swiftly through concept development to initial prototyping in a matter of days.

Arm was happy to go ahead with an L shaped design which encompassed the off the shelf components they had already chosen. After a 1 off sample was made, we supplied 10 painted enclosures to match the colour of the ceiling of a section of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Following some initial tests with the first 3D printed prototypes, design iterations were implemented and a further set of presentation ready prototypes was produced. After a successful launch event, Arm requested a second product enclosure to be developed in line with an updated and more powerful version of their product.
