MyMouth approached 4D Products and tasked us with designing a new tongue scrapper for their new product range.

The product needed to be highly functional while also appearing fun and eye-catching. After reviewing existing products on the market, we found that many featured bland, utilitarian designs which didnt stand out and make the product enticing to use. This was the niche on which we focussed on.

Our initial concept exploration looked at ways in which the two handles of the product could connect together when not in use for ease of storage. We wanted the user to be able to connect the handles as easily as possible without compromising the look of the product when in use.

We introduced our clients to one of our manufacturing partners in China, who were able to provide full-scale manufacture of the product including packaging. 4D Products worked alongside the manufacturer to supply all the necessary 3D data as well as technical engineering drawings.

After an initial sample run where the quality and finish of the parts was confirmed, the product is now in its first production run and will be available in the UK in the coming months.
