4D Products were initially contracted to deliver a short phase of 3D CAD work. A design engineer worked on site, and as the working relationship developed this was extended and elements of design and engineering work added to the list of deliverables.
Over the months we have regularly worked on site, integrating within the in-house design team. LayTec’s products are typically low volume, and require an extremely high level of accuracy as precision optical components and electronic sensing equipment is combined to measure minute surface undulations during the manufacture of valuable semi-conductor materials.
4D have been tasked with development of new product variants from concept through to supply of accurately machined components for assembly by in-house experts.
